The safety of our communities are important

Daily we hear and read in the media of the ongoing and increasing crime in our Towns, Cities,and even in our local communities. The fast way of life seems the norm, we don't have time to observe around us, nor do we want to, the mindset for that, "why do we have to get involved.

Children fall victim to drug and substance abuse, violence against woman and children happen occur, but we do't want to see it, and it happens behind closed doors...newsflash my fellow South Africans, it happen where and to whom you least expect it. Men get abused, maybe verbally, but we believe it's just another argument. Our children gets abducted, but it won't happen to us, or so the is the believe.

We as fellow community members need to stand together, fight the evils together and be more observant. Crime is running high in all the corners of the country, but we still believe that it is somebody else's problem.

Only once we as the community stand together with the local CPF (Community Police Forums), the SAPS, Neighbourhood Watches

and the Private Security Companies, there can be a proper fight against crime.

Be Pro - Active, be observant, show interest and care in others, then we might start winning the fight against crime, abuse, substance abuse and violence.

Safe travels, Stay safe, be observant and vigilant.
